Vikram Sheel Kumar, MD, is the co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clear Creek Bio. A pathologist and engineer, Vikram’s mission in life is to solve important and compelling problems with exceptional people. To do this, he has founded numerous companies at the intersection of software, medicine, and drug development. He started Dimagi out of his graduate research at the MIT Media Lab. Today, it delivers the world’s most widely used data collection platform for frontline health workers.
Vikram graduated magna cum laude with an MD from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. He attended Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi before completing his engineering degree with honors from Columbia University. He trained in clinical pathology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he was a chief resident. Vikram is a venture partner at RA Capital and has been named an MIT Technology Review TR100, a Paul and Daisy Soros New American, a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur by the World Economic Forum, and is a full member of Sigma Xi, the scientific research honor society.
