David has more than 30 years of experience in large and start-up pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies as a scientist, manager, and CEO.  He began his career in large pharma at DuPont Pharmaceuticals where he led R&D groups in oncology and infectious diseases.  He has led start-up and medium size pharma company R&D efforts and IND to NDA regulatory filings in the US and EU. He currently holds 13 US patents.

He received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. David held a postdoctoral appointment as an NIH Fellow at Harvard University and an academic visiting scholar appointment at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is an awardee of the National Science Foundation Innovations ICorps program.
